Manitoba Arts Council
The Manitoba Arts Council is an arm's-length agency of the Province of Manitoba, established in 1965 "to promote the study, enjoyment, production and performance of works in the arts." The Council makes awards to professional arts organizations and individuals in all art forms including arts education, literary arts, performing arts, and visual arts.
Winnipeg Arts Council
The Winnipeg Arts Council is a not-for-profit corporation at arm’s length from the City of Winnipeg. The Winnipeg Arts Council funds, supports, and fosters development of the arts on behalf of the people of Winnipeg.
Toronto Arts Council
Toronto Arts Council is an arm's length body that supports the development, accessibility and excellence of the arts in Toronto. Toronto Arts Council offers grants programs to the city's arts organizations and professional artists.
New Brunswick Arts Board
The New Brunswick Arts Board is an arm's length arts funding agency with a legislated mandate to facilitate and promote the creation of art as well as administering funding programs for professional artists in the province.
The Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council
The Newfoundland and Labrador Arts Council (NLAC) is a non-profit Crown agency created in 1980 by The Arts Council Act. Its mission is to foster and promote the creation and enjoyment of the arts for the benefit of all Newfoundlanders and Labradorians. The NLAC receives an annual grant from the Province to support a variety of granting programs, office administration, and communications. It supports the following artistic disciplines: dance, film, multidiscipline, music, theatre, visual art, and writing.
The Nova Scotia Arts and Culture Partnership Council
The Nova Scotia Arts and Culture Partnership Council (NSACPC) is a partnership between the cultural sector and the Department of Tourism, Culture and Heritage. In consultation with the cultural community, the NSACPC facilitates the development, preservation and promotion of the arts and culture.
Prince Edward Island Council of the Arts
The Prince Edward Island Council of the Arts (PEICA) has provided vital support to the arts on Prince Edward Island since 1974. Dedicated to ensuring that all Prince Edward Islanders enjoy the benefits of a healthy arts community, the PEICA works to foster the development of the arts through advocacy, education, programs and services.
Nunavut Arts Council
The Nunavut Arts Council does not exist at this time but the Dept of Culture, Language, Elders and Youth (CLEY) are working on reestablishing the council. Art grants are still being administered by CLEY.

Established as a non profit organization in 1988, the Manitoba Magazine Publishers' Association has taken root as an effective voice of Manitoba magazine publishers. The Association of Magazine Publishers of Australia (MPA) was formed in 1995 and represents Australia's leading publishers of consumer, cover-priced and nationally distributed magazines. MPA’s charter is to enhance the perception of magazines as a communication channel, one that enjoys personal and powerful connections with audiences, providing a highly effective environment for advertisers. MPA aims to increase the share of advertising dollars allocated by marketers to the magazine medium.
Magazines Ireland (formerly PPA Ireland)
Magazines Ireland is the trade association of Irish magazine publishers and currently has a membership of 43 publishers who publish over 200 magazines, both consumer and business to business titles.
European Federation of Magazine Publishers (FAEP)
The European Federation of Magazine Publishers (FAEP) is a non-profit organization representing the interests of the national associations of periodical press publishers and corporate publishing members in Europe.
European Publishers Council (EPC)
The EPC is a high level group of Chairmen and CEOs of leading European media corporations actively involved in multimedia markets spanning newspaper, magazine, book, journal, internet and online database publishers. Since 1991, the EPC has worked to uphold a free and competitive media on behalf of its members, readers and audiences and to promote diversity and democracy in an enlarged European Union.
Circulation Management Association of Canada (CMC)The CMC is a volunteer organization that offers professional development seminars, marketing and scholarship programs, and a newsletter for circulation professionals. The Professional Writers Association of Canada (PWAC)

The EAC began in 1979 as the Freelance Editors’ Association of Canada and has been the voice of editors in Canada for 30 years.
