Getting Engaged: New Ad Promotes Strong Relationship between Readers and Magazines
Toronto (MC) — Today, Magazines Canada released a new ad for member download titled Magazines Engage; the ad literally flips the living room couch around to show where consumer engagement is really strongest.
With the statement “Magazines engage consumers like nothing else,” the ad reminds advertisers about the special relationship readers have with their magazines. They select magazines based on their interests and passions, actually value the addition of magazine advertising (rather than get annoyed or disrupted by it), and they take some form of action after reading.
The development of creative and interactive features like augmented reality, 3D images and audio/video capability have gotten readers to interact and engage with their magazines one step further. Now readers are engaging with the magazine brand across platforms, adding to the reader experience and strengthening engagement with magazine content.
The Magazines Engage ad, which first ran in the Magazines Canada quarterly Canadian Magazines Canadiens, is now available for download in the members section of the Magazines Canada website.
