Elana Schachter. As Director Digital Product Strategy, Elana is responsible for developing and executing the product strategy across all Rogers Publishing consumer titles including Chatelaine, Maclean’s, L’Actualite and Hello! Canada among others. This role has her exploring new and emerging platforms such as tablet, eBook, video, mobile, local and social on a daily basis. 

In her previous role as Director and General Manager of Today’s Parent, Elana oversaw the successful redesign of todaysparent.com. Post-launch, the brand went on to win Digital Magazine of the Year at the 2012 National Magazine Awards.

A 15-year digital media veteran, Elana has worked across many areas of Rogers including Rogers Yahoo! Hi Speed and Rogers Cable. She previously worked for QuickPlay/Snap Media and cut her digital teeth creating one-of-a-kind content and marketing strategies for Sony Music Canada.

Kim Pittaway is a freelance magazine editor, writer and consultant and the past president of the National Magazine Awards Foundation. She is a sought-after speaker and regularly hosts seminars and workshops to help editors excel at their craft. She is the former Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor of Chatelaine magazine.

Mike Wall is a Director for comScore's Media Metrix Canada division and works with some of the country's leading digital agencies, publishers and advertisers, operating in Canada and around the world. Using the latest research and insights across the full spectrum of digital media channels, Mike helps his clients grow their digital businesses, and is considered a trusted go-to resource. His current clients include agencies OMD and Klick, global ad networks Adconion and 24/7 Real Media, category-leading publishers NetShelter Technology Media and AutoGuide.com Group, and retailers Best Buy and Shoppers Drug Mart.

Martin White, Principal of Online Magazine Marketing, provides senior management staff with strategic and tactical consultation focusing on print and online business issues. He is the former Publisher of TIME Canada and Associate Publisher of Toronto Life, and has monetized web programs for large and small businesses from Bombardier, Pioneer and Reader's Digest to Wedding Bells, Vantage and Downhome magazines. Martin is also a Travelling Consultant for Magazines Canada.

Martin Wong is the Chief Marketing Officer at SmarttNet. With a decade of industry experience in Internet marketing, Martin knows exactly how to drive traffic to a website and how to get new visitors to take action once they are there. Prior to joining SmarttNet, Martin managed his own successful Internet marketing firm for seven years. He frequently speaks at local business meetings on Internet marketing and content development. He has also been featured in numerous publications, including as a cover story in MakeItBusiness, a leading publication for small businesses in Vancouver.
