Programs and Services for Cultural Magazines
Magazines with modest circulation but very high cultural value and significance compose a majority in Magazines Canada's membership and play a vital role in determining the association's directions and programs. Magazines Canada supports and promotes independent and cultural magazines in a number of ways:
- Providing year-round advocacy at the government level
- Offering targeted professional development
- Developing specialized resources (Small Magazine Handbooks & Hotsheets and more)
- Distributing smaller magazines direct-to-retail
