Published in the heart of Canada, Border Crossings is a quarterly arts magazine that covers all the visual arts—painting, photography, drawing, sculpture and video as well as architecture and film. The magazine investigates contemporary Canadian and international art and culture through articles, columns, reviews, profiles, portfolios of drawings and photographs, and most notably—interviews. In its 27 years of publication it has received 149 nominations for National and Western magazine awards and has won 59 gold and silver medals, including "Magazine of the Year" in 2004.
